Ask for health tests on BOTH parents (hips, eyes, hearts by parent breed), meet the mother, and walk away from anyone selling "hypoallergenic guarantees" or many litters at once - that's a mill. Better yet: doodles and mixes fill shelters too - check adoption first, and read the breeder red flags before paying anyone.
