🩺 Pregnancy length varies by a few days from litter to litter. A vet check with ultrasound (around day 25-30) or x-ray (late in pregnancy) is the only reliable way to confirm dates and count the litter. This is a planning estimate, not a substitute for veterinary care.
⚠️ These dates are calculated from a typical gestation length and assume a known, single mating date. Real pregnancies can arrive a few days either side. Book a vet appointment early - ultrasound and x-ray confirm the pregnancy, the due date and how many puppies or kittens to expect, and give you a plan if anything goes wrong during whelping.
